some ignorant lincoln park types said some racist stuff to my friend and me tonight, and i can't let it go at this point. everytime it happens, the rage in me wants me to stoop to their level and call them [racial slurs], but i know it's not right, and i know it's not what i want to do. but often times rage gets the best of me, to a point where i can't control my actions. luckily, tonight, i maintained control. i was better than them.
but do you see why people hate [sic] americans, or even america in general? it's not really a guessing game at this point. the reason we're hated is because of the way we treat others who are superficially different, including our own.

i've been playing the radiohead song (that will *probably* be released on the new album) "all i need" for the past hour. it's the first song in maybe a year that's given me goosebumps. watch a live performance here:

music isn't written like this anymore. music is made with the "associated to" mindset more now than ever, instead of a respected emotional and forward thinking mindset. fuck all your garbage that can be so clearly placed inside of a genre. it's rubbish and you know it. fuck your tight pants and your claps and your feminine, wannabe-ass freddie mercury stage moves. fucking tools. you've failed.

- it's abbu's birthday tomorrow, 8/8. wish him a happy birthday. happy birthday brother.
- ruby is moving home once october rolls around. i'm kinda sad even tho nothing will really change.
- jo's leaving for san fran tomorrow. g'luck ate, show 'em what you got! i'll be by in a minute.
- kinda excited about my 2nd year at accenture. things will change, such as who i report to, my pay, and the number of days i can work from home. this could be a seriously killer year.
- i'm seriously going to buy monitors soon. and i will truly begin to make music. i swear to god.
there's going to be a lot of ups and downs. hopefully it'll all even out.
