i just passed up a job that pays 46k. i would have started on monday. but it had nothing to do with music and everything to do with computers.

it's not often that i meet people i'm actually compatible with. that's why i'm pretty stoked about the friends i've made recently. i don't want to jinx anything but i'm really excited about the new people in my life. and meeting these people couldn't have happened at a better time.
my college friends have left chicago in waves. first was the japanese english teaching crew, then was my bay area ate and kuya, and currently several people are in the process of migrating to new york (except ji, who's ahead of the game). molly's gonna be leaving for england in about a month. and assuming andrew follows through with peace corps, that'll be happening around this time next year. so i feel super fortunate to have met such cool people at the time i did, because the loneliness was definitely starting to kick in.

- chemical brothers are playing at the riviera!!!!!!!!1111 the show is on sept 24 and tickets have yet to go on sale. keep your eyes peeled.
- seeing azeem recently has made me mad nostalgic for some reason. i must really miss my friends.
- the new MIA is pretty cool. the bangers are toward the end.
